Robert Seethaler tells the story of Franz, Freud, and Anezka in Vienna in the 30's. Austria 1937: The 17-year-old Franz Huchel leaves his home village to go to Vienna as an apprentice in a tobacco shop. There he met one day Sigmund Freud and is immediately intrigued by its appearance. In the course of time, an unlikely friendship develops between the two different men.
